Jessica Capote, MD, FAAP

Dr. Capote graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine in May of 2001, and went on to complete her Pediatric Internship and Pediatric Residency at University of Miami’s Holtz Children’s Hospital in June 2004. Upon the completion of her residency, she was honored to receive the Dr. Charles Pegelow Award “For Compassion, Dedication, Excellence, and Commitment to the Care of Children.” She has been a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2005. She began her career with Manatee County Rural Health Service in July of 2004, and practiced there until October 2018, serving as Chief of Pediatrics from 2012-2017.

She is the extremely proud mother of two daughters, Emma and Lourdes and an active participant in their numerous activities. She enjoys photography and reading in her spare time, and the product of these passions adorn this website and the office walls of Capote Pediatrics.


Laura Isola, APRN

Laura graduated from the University of South Florida in May 2001. She began her career as a nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at All Children’s Hospital caring for critically ill children. In 2009, Laura returned to obtain a master’s degree in nursing. At that time, she began work at ACH as a resource nurse, caring for children with diverse medical conditions throughout all areas of the hospital. After graduating with her APRN in 2011, Laura began her career as a Nurse Practitioner at Pediatric Partners in Bradenton before joining Capote Pediatrics.

Laura is passionate about her family and one of her greatest joys in life is spending time with her husband Eric and their 4 children.

Sydney Cutright, PA-C

Sydney is a Physician Assistant and Certified Athletic Trainer. She has a background in pediatrics and sports medicine. She grew up in Sarasota, Florida and has a passion for being outdoors and going on adventures! She loves spending her free time with her family.

Kelley Pusateri, LPN

Kelley has been working as a nurse for over 35 years, and has a passion for taking care of children. She enjoys cooking for her loved ones and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Emily Santana, LPN

Emily was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida. She received her AA at SCF and went to MTC to become an LPN. She has been a pediatric nurse for almost 5 years. In her free time she likes to go to new places and try new things with her family.

Reynaldo Claro, CMA

Reynaldo was born and raised in Sarasota and graduated from Vassar College in New York with 2 BA’s in Economics and Physics. He became certified as a Clinical Medical Assistant and aspires to further his education to become an MD in the future. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering at a local nonprofit, UnidosNow, where he helps prepare students of all ages for high school and post-secondary education. He is also passionate about spending quality time with his family and his little brother Jason.

Magen Pusateri, Office Manager

Magen is a Sarasota native and usually spends her free time at home with her Husband and cats. They like to travel, go hiking, attend concerts and play video games together. She has been with us since 2019 as our Office Manager. She is happy to assist you in scheduling your children and any other administrative questions or concerns you may have.
